    Description

    Lot of three vintage
    postcards ranging in age from the 1930's to mid-Century; feature various attractions in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. All have divided backs and are postally unused.
    Linen, 10096-Sapphire Pool & Biscuit Basin;
    minimal corner
    wear-see upper left; there is some brownish staining along the bottom edge.
    On back: "Copyright by Haynes Studios Inc., Bozeman, Montana / Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. Art-Colortone'
    Post Card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.)." The enumeration "5A-H491" in lower right corner indicates printing in 1935.
    Linen,
    ©34200-Giant Geyser Cone;
    no wear noted to corners or edges;
    no creases. There's a very slight hint of brownish discoloration along the left edge; I didn't notice it until viewing the enlarged scan.. On back: "Copyright by Haynes Studios, Inc., Bozeman, Montana / Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. Art-Colortone
    ' Post Card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.)" The enumeration "5A-H528" in lower right corner indicates printing in 1935.
    Chrome,
    C1009-Morning Glory Pool;
    minimal corner and edge wear
    . No stains or creases. The card has a divided back and is unposted. This is a "Color Card /
    Kodachrome
    Reproduction by Mike Roberts for Intermountain Tourist Supply, Inc, Salt Lake City Utah". Roberts was the first publisher to use the Kodachrome method.
    From the manufacturer's information and the log benches around the pool, I judge the card to be from the 1950's.
