The description on the front of this card reads:Never Summer Range from Western Slope of the Trail Ridge Road,
Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
The description on the back reads:
The Trail Ridge Road is one of the great features of the Rocky Mountain National Park. All down the western part of the highway the traveler looks up and over to the great masses of the Never Summer Range, with its great sharp peaks never entirely free from snow offering countless beautiful spectacles from the curves and thru the trees as one travels along the highway.
This card was written on and mailed. It was postmarked in Estes Park, Colorado, in 1939, and was mailed to Mr. & Mrs. George Mayfield, Carlisle, Indiana. It still has its green one cent George Washington stamp still firmly attached.
It is in fairly good condition for its age. The corners are lightly bumped. There is a small amount of postmark ink on the front of the card. You may be able to see this in the scans.
